A Sense of Selby Abbey

Definitely a photographic project in it’s own right.

  1. Lovely shot, Stephen. You do the Abbey justice!

    • That’s very kind of you, thank you!
The Abbey has, in my opinion, been prepared for the benefit of tourists, so from my point of view, lacks a little of the atmosphere that one might look for. Nonetheless, there’s enough to go at – though a shift lens might be of particular use to get a good record of the stained glass.

  2. Reblogged this on Via Lucis Photography and commented:
Would like to commend Via Lucis readers to Stephen Hipperson’s “sub-blog” on church photography – Ecclesiarum.

  3. splendid shot!
